Self defense classes?

i would like to take my 2 nieces and my self to a women's self defense class. i live in Orange County CA. i want a class where they teach how to use pepper spray and some maneuvers incase there are attached. i tried looking on-line, but all i can find are karate classes. i want something different, like teaching them what to do and how to survive if something terrible were to happen. any info u have or websites would be very grateful!!!

Reply:I would recommend krav maga it is a combative martial that was developed to take down an attacker and take them down quick some classes teach how to use stun guns , pepper spray and more they will teach you how to defend some one else while taking on multiple attacker

Reply:Besides teaching women self defense I suggest they bookmark these web pages in thier computers for on going study.I follow the procedures and advice given by the site owner.


I would think any instructor who is concerned for his/her female students would do the same.

Reply:call local martial arts places and they will probably have a selfdefence class. You're neices shouldn't learn how to use pepper spray, but know how to defend themselves against weapons, chokes and holds
