3. If Islam is spread by word not sword, then why in the world PM waged so many religious war during his time? I suppose you'll say it's for self-defense?
4. Islam does punish leaving Muslims by death and hell and more than that. Don't BS with me. It was as if it's telling the Muslims that Islam is the ONLY true religion and to leave it is death.
5. PM advised pagan followers to limit marriage to just 4? Then why did he married more than just 1, since he's unlike the pagan followers that marry 50? To take care of the women's welfare? Why can't he make do with adopted sisters and daughters? Do Muslims understand this question?
6. Idol worshippers DON'T think the idol IS god. They worship deities. Deities are NOT God. But the real reason idol is needed in some religion, which not even the worshippers realize, is to remind the followers of the good characters the deities possess that should be emulated. Remember - Good characters to be emulated, NOT idol-God worshipping. Understand this, Muslims and non-Muslims.
7. The moment Muslims claim Islam as the 1 and only religion, he/she indirectly looked down on other religions as being inferior. Moderate Muslims may say Islam doesn't look down on other religions. But let's ask yourself Muslims, do you really see other religions as equal and on par with Islam? Your actions (claim Islam as the only 100% true religion, that other religions worship something else, etc) justify your ignorance of other religions and look down on them.
8. Jihad is to conquer the self. Even Buddhism and Hinduism taught this. It's to conquer our hatred, greed, selfishness, etc because there's no greater enemy than our own deeply-rooted weaknesses. There's no enemy outside our mind. In order to conquer others through Jihad, we must conquer ourself first through Jihad. It has nothing to do with self-defense. Self-defense from what? Non-Muslims? How? Bombing them up? Understand this, Muslims.
9. The last time I heard, covering up (for women) is because of Arab's sand storm, nothing else. But Muslims prefer to talk about decency and all that rubbish. For the beard, each Muslim has different answers. The fact is, many hardcore Muslims enforce beard-keeping as compulsory, religiously. If it's to emulate PM, then why not ride camels instead of cars since PM also rode camel?
10. Every year, Muslims sacrifice and slaughter loads of camels and cows when they can make do with fish and chicken. Even red meat isn't nutritionally healthy but Muslims still continue with that. In my country, Muslims mass sacrifice/slaughter camels and cows for new year every year. They do it in the name of Islam.

First of all I will say that you have alot and it is very hard to answer each question to a "T". I will try to do my best God willing. Second of all their is verses because their will be a time like the ones we live in now that muslim will have to fight the disbeliever and that is because their are so many non-muslims like yourself that try to put down muslims or try to make us believe like you do. We as muslims have to protect what we believe in as well. On your second question about muslims saying bombing is ok, that is BS their are exstreem muslims just like their exstreemest in other religon. True muslims are the ones that try to be at peace like PM. I don't agree with what they said the muslims did on 911 our any other situation. Islamic It is peace we want peace but Allaah has told us that other religons will raise wars and we will have to fight that is where jihad comes from so I don't know about all those other people that you said use the word they might be just mocking Islam. Yes I will say self defense about the war that was waged. PM and the believers where ran out of their home traveled across the desert sand because christans and others alike didn't like what PM had to say. Many muslims died by the hands of christans and when PM and the companions settled this is what Allaah told them to do. Prettymuch if they come this time fight and I will give each muslim man the streath of ten to fight. God is all peace but their is a wreath just like their is a hell fire. Many muslims died in those wars but we believe in Allaah and the last day so we fear nothing but Allaah. Their was a man that was in the PM times and he was muslim, he one day decided that he didn't want to be muslim anymore. No one did anything to him, but then he went around telling everybody that PM got all his info from him and talking bad about PM. So Allaah brought death upon him. They buried him three times and everytime they buried him the earth spit him back out he became an example of what happens to someone that was muslim and then goes againts Islam. NoBODY killed him Allaah did, so that is something that you might want to take up wilth him also I will do more reserch on that and God willing I will be able to write you with that. Their is however other punishment that I know is by death and alot of muslims would rather be punished by death on earth then the one in the next life, because Allaah has told us you can not be punished twice for the same crime that is mercy from Allaah. Islam is the only true religon if you study with a clear mind and not a prijdice one you will come to that understanding, Allaah has told us that he puts seals on peoples hearts and ears so I or anyone could talk to you till they are blue in the face untill Allaah is ready for you to get this understanding you will be forever lost. That is why some muslims look at islam as a gift because we could be walkin around blind like you and once that light is turn on it takes alot to turn it off. As for PM having more then four wives that is because Allaah allowed him to, Men outside of PM can have four, PM was a prophet sent to us by Allaah to give us a message. Their where kings that had hundreds and it became a mess sometime the women would only see him once every blue moon. The botttom line is PM was sent to give us order in a world of ceos just like it is now the only diffrence is now we have islam. I want to answer all your questions but you did write alot I dont want my answer to go on for days. One more thing before I go I do want to address you saying the muslims bomb this country you need to look closer at what happen on 911, I am not going to say that some people from the middle east wheren't in on it but some people that are alittle more closer to home help. Just like I told you that PM had to defend his belief muslims today have to do the same they want to put it on us because islam is a religon that people that don't know it put it down instead of trying to understand it and get out of the box americans are in, we don't push Islam on no one we do believe that if you don't believe that Allaah is the one and only God and you don't share parteners you will not enter paridise, but this is not something that we push on any one and any muslim that you see pushing it on you is not conducting themselves as a muslim. Everything has a way of being handled that is why this is the fastest growing religon in the world that is mercy from Allaah.

A 5. who is PM? you mean Quran order muslims to limit their marriage till 4. 1st God forbid for Muhammad to divorce any of his wives because they became part of the prophethood family. A 9. it's about whatever God command us to do shall be. women had to cover all their body except their face and hands, and men had to cover what's between their button and knees. regarding beard it's not required, but part of faith. A 10. have you ever been to any U.S. grocery store lately ? they have a depatment called the meat department which is full of all different kind of meat. muslim sacrifice animals for the sake of God, as they follow the path of Abraham. when God command Abraham to kill his son, but reward him of a sacrifice instead. well Islam follow the path of Abraham, and sacrificing animals is done in certain times and conditions. sacrificing means giving some of its meat to the poor and to the needy for the sake of God.

The problem with gun laws?
Recently, I saw an article in the Buffalo News that detailed a man's
arrest; one of the charges being "possession of a noxious substance"
(CS gas). This struck my curiousity so I went to the New York
State Penal Law. Sure enough, section 270 prohibits possession of
any noxious substance, and included in section 265 is a ban on the
use of "stun guns". Now I am a male, and fully capable of defending
myself, but how about a female?
I strongly believe in a God-given right to self-defense. Should any
other person or a governing body be able to tell a person that he/she
cannot save their own life, because it would be a violation of the
law? In this case, which is more important: faced with a
rapist/murderer, would you pick a.)die, a law abiding citizen or b.)
live, and go to jail?
It is a lie if we tell ourselves that the police can protect us
everywhere, at all times. I am in shock that a law exists which
denies a woman's right to self-defense.
The problem with gun laws?
Stun guns are more likely to be used by criminals than for the "weak defenseless woman" you are caricaturizing. Somebody in the legislature had to make a judgment call. ADW (assault with a deadly weapon) type crimes are often tallied by type of weapon used, to figure out if new laws addressing particularly dangerous new ones need to be created to protect the public interest.
Here in CA, switchblades and spring type knives are illegal for the same reason... it's REALLY hard to find a lawful purpose

I strongly believe in a God-given right to self-defense. Should any
other person or a governing body be able to tell a person that he/she

It is a lie if we tell ourselves that the police can protect us
everywhere, at all times. I am in shock that a law exists which
denies a woman's right to self-defense.
The problem with gun laws?
Stun guns are more likely to be used by criminals than for the "weak defenseless woman" you are caricaturizing. Somebody in the legislature had to make a judgment call. ADW (assault with a deadly weapon) type crimes are often tallied by type of weapon used, to figure out if new laws addressing particularly dangerous new ones need to be created to protect the public interest.
Here in CA, switchblades and spring type knives are illegal for the same reason... it's REALLY hard to find a lawful purpose

Women-How many of you have heard of or taken the R.A.D. Women's Course?
This is fantastic self defense course that runs 12 hours over several days. Best of all, no men are allowed other than an instructor and the guy you get to beat up on in the simulation. Have you heard of this or visited the website? Have you taken it? Oh yeah, RAD stands for Rape Aggression Defense. There is also a r.a.d. KIDS Class that every single child needs.
Women-How many of you have heard of or taken the R.A.D. Women's Course?
I have heard of it, but have never attended one. I think it is a great thing to have. Lord knows that women need every defense we can get. I've never heard of a class for kids, but that's awesome too.

Hapkido places a great emphasis upon flexibility (and women tend to be more flexible than men), and employs a great number of kicking techniques (leg muscles in women are incredibly strong), Hapkido is the one martial art that is ideally suited to the female anatomy.

Reply:Since i am a personal self defense instructor and have integrated Hapkido into my system, along with Haganah %26amp; Tang Soo Do, I am goping to say hapkido..This is a more effortless system and takes little or no need of physical strength to achieve...Find a good instructor, one who will not waste your time on excerise and warm up..You defend cold in the street, therefore, you shiould train cold.

They both have perks and flaws, but I would recommend hapkido because it emphasizes combat on a lot of ranges. It's modified jujutsu, and BJJ is similar to Judo, but it emphasizes groundfighting. Groundfighting is an essential piece to self-defense, but most BJJ schools that don't have mixes will teach little to no strike training, and you need striking and grappling to really get by. Hapkido will teach you strikes, joint locks, joint manipulations, throws, and more. At higher levels, you will also start learning self-defense techniques versus other arts, such as how to react to someone throwing a roundhouse kick at you.
They're both really good styles, but I think you should start with Hapkido, and then move down to bjj. That way when you're done, not only are you well-versed in two styles, but you will have covered all fighting ranges from standing to the ground, and that's really going to help you out. Some Hapkido schools do teach groundfighting, but the won't you go to may not. You might want to ask about what the curriculum entails as well.

Why are the testicles outside of the body?
Of all of the organs in the human body, the only ones that are completely outside are the testicles. This does not seem to make any sense, unless evolution had women's self-defense programs, like model mugging, in mind. Is there a biological reason for this, or is God just a feminist?

Girls I need help?
Girls! I signed up as the "attacker" for a women's self defense class. . ?
I don't think it would be that painful, but do you think i'm going to need protection like a helmet or any other pieces of protection of the ladies in the class?

When I called the woman that is head of the class she told me all i had to bring was a jock. for some reason she was laughing while she said that. what does that mean and why was she laughing. do you even think a jock is needed, after all its just women...right?

This is a Self Defense Class and you are going to be "acting" as the aggressor. You need to mean it, because these women need to know that a real attacker is not going to just sweetly place his hands around the girls throat and hold them there. He is going to try to Hurt these girls!

Reply:Because that is the main area they focus in those classes teaching self defense. Besides some women really kick hard so be prepared be blessed. Sometimes men are in the classes not often though, most classes are women only.

Hate to break it to you, but girls can be pretty violent. You'll probably get kneed in the crotch a few times, so I would, ahem, wear protection there. Basically, be forceful but don't be mean. Girls will love you if you smile at them and make casual conversation with them before/after you fight them. Tease them like "You don't think you can really hurt me..." but you might be putting yourself at risk to violent behavior. But if you're nice they'll have sympathy for you and won't hurt you too bad. Just don't be a wuss.

A Question for Britons?
What is the proper protocol for winking at the Queen? I want to make sure that my President didn't embarass US by not winking at her with the proper protocol. i was in the women's bathroom and heard a man come in, i looked around the corner and he dropped his pants and began masturbating to a magazine. i called my husband, no response. next thing he was approaching me while attacked him with donatello swords and killed him. i left out and it wasn't my current husband but my exhusband with my current stepson..i told him to wait to call the police until i ate an apple....WTF....p.s. i killed the dude by hacking at his neck and no blood! WHAT CAN THIS SIGNIFY?

My response to this would be... the womens bathroom is a place where you would normally feel secure enough to use said purpose and go on with your day. I would in this context say that the bathroom represents personal space and personal will. The man entering in my opinion is purely representative of an aggressor or violation of your will or boundaries. This can be a person or situation; however if it is a person I am leaning towards them being male and possibly making advances that threaten your personal boundaries/space. The sexual/self-serving nature of this suggests problems very personal (private or with family) and one-sided against your better interests. The murder suggests that you wish very strongly for a change and attacking with more than one weapon to me suggests fearless determination or strong conviction. I would chose to take a pro-active stance with the person/problem causing these difficulties in your non-dream world. The fact that you waited to call the police whilst you ate an apple is a plausible symbol that you are ready to take control and let the violating party(s) wait for YOU now instead, for them to yeild to your will. The neck is a very vulnerable part of us, to me this is an indication that the area of concern is also very personal to the other person or will be easily overcome (obstacle(s)). The lack of blood indicates that it will be less of a struggle than you once thought and that the outcome will be better in the end ("no blood spilled"). My guess is that when you face this problem the other party/obstacle will be accomodating or at least change will occur. Why do we need women's studies, feminism, self defense for women courses, etc? There is an inherent contradiction here!
I asked around in my city and they don't offer self defense courses for men. I asked why and all people could say was "gee, umm I dunno".

We are equal in other forms, or at least we should be. We should earn the same pay for the same job, we should be recognized in the same ways. Men get far more money for doing the same job as a woman even if the woman has a higher degree. Also, look at the difference in male and female professional sports. The men get more pay and more advertising.

Don't forget that men have more muscle mass and are more capable of taking care of themselves. Women are more often targeted for assault and robbery because they are more defensless. I've never needed a self defense course as I have already acquired ample skills to defend myself or anyone else using firearms or bare hands to adequately take care of any threat. If a man wants top learn to defend himself he can seek that training by various means. There are martial arts studios in just about any city and most gun stores offer info on local firing ranges or provide that in their own stores.

It's alomst as if some women are saying "Ok, you men have been more important for too long, now it's our turn." If women want to be so equal to men, why do we get special treament in employment, the military, ect? In my opinion I think women and men should learn about and enjoy each other's differences. Men get far more money for doing the same job as a woman even if the woman has a higher degree. Also, look at the difference in male and female professional sports. The men get more pay and more advertising.

Don't forget that men have more muscle mass and are more capable of taking care of themselves. Women are more often targeted for assault and robbery because they are more defensless. I've never needed a self defense course as I have already acquired ample skills to defend myself or anyone else using firearms or bare hands to adequately take care of any threat. If a man wants top learn to defend himself he can seek that training by various means. There are martial arts studios in just about any city and most gun stores offer info on local firing ranges or provide that in their own stores.

It's alomst as if some women are saying "Ok, you men have been more important for too long, now it's our turn." What are some good self defense techniques for me to learn?
My entire life I have lived in a small town, surrounded by family. In the summer, though, I'll be moving to a rather large city (Rome, Italy)...and I'll be by myself for a while. I'll use my common sense, but things still happen.....so, what are some self defense moves I could learn? Any suggestions? Thanks.

Let me start by saying that self defense does not necessarly have the same goals as martial arts. Self defense is about surviving, hopefully unhamred after a violent encounter. The goal is not really to fight, or to beat up the other person but rather to escape to safety. While I certainly encourage you to start with a martial arts class, understand that many martial arts have the goal of teaching you to fight or to compete. I've trained in several martail arts school and not a one of them ever talk or trained students in awareness or avoidance which are very key components to staying safe.
Learn how to avoid dangerous places, dangers people and risky behaviour. Keep your head up and don't get overly involved on cell phone calls. Do not look lost or like you are uncertain, even when you are. If you don't look like prey, it greatly reduces the chance that you will become prey.
Self defense needs to be simple, efficient and brutal. Nothing fancy. And you cannot approach it was a timid mindset. You have to committ to a course of action and committe 110%. You will most likey be confronted by someone who is larger and stronger than you. Aggressors seldom attack someone unless they are pretty certain they can win. So you cannot use half way measures.
Primary targets are soft tissue. The eyes, the throat, the solar plexis and the groin are good examples. Don't strike at the head with your fist. It is very easy to break a bone in your hand or sprain your wrist when striking, this is especailly true if you have not trained for that type of impact.
You and you alone are responsible for your safety. Take it seriously and understand that there is a lot to learn. I don't think anyone learns it all. Most of it is mental and deal with your behaviour in order to avoid conflict. The physcial part requires learning techniques which is really pretty easy, and learning how to apply them which is a whole lot harder. They are pershable skills and require regular practice even after you feel you have mastered them.
A martial arts class will help you get used to making the needed striking motions as well as get you used to forceful physcial contact. A good instructor will also help you get your head around the idea of hurting another human being. This is very difficult for some people when the rubber meets the road and many women will attemtp to use a technique to hurt someone "just a little bit" and the results are no normally good.
So yes, join a martial arts school or club. But keep your focus on self defense, unless you decide to get into competitive sparring which if fine if that is what you are looking for. Just dont' confuse a martial art with the emphasis on sparring with real world self defense.

Reply:Any type of self defense course will give you the basics that you need to know. I firmly belive that it should be mandatory for all girls to learn in school. Maybe we would not have so many problems with women gatting attacked. Whatever you do don't go and buy a gun this will only get you killed unless you are very well trained in how to use it. You would be better off with the self defence classes and there are many classes available just for women. They also teach you more than just how to defend yourself.

when the attacker is holding both wrists.
1. do #1 and #2 on the first part.
2. with the speed of an ionized particle, thrust your left hand downward and your right hand upward toward the attacker and simultaenously kick the groin (if male) or the stomach (if female)
if forgot the terms but aki-iage probably means rising sun and aki-sage means falling moon or vice versa.

Snap you wrist out between the weak spot between thumb are forefinger. A excellent scream is very effective. When walking alone carry your keys between your fingers so if you had to hit someone the poking out keys would make an added deterent. Clench your fist real hard. Try not to travel alone late at night. Before you get out of your car drive around the block to see if "undesirables" are hanging around. While still in your car scope out where your going. Plan where you'd run in the event of an emergency. Being panic'ed in an unknown place is scary enough. Having a back up plan may make you feel more secure and give you peice of mind. I'm not sure if they have it in Italy or not but buy yourself some pepper spray and carry it in your hand when you are most vulnerable. Good luck and

if ur walkin to ur house or car, and theres ppl around, wait til theyve gone, or, have the key out in ur hand, and have a key ready to use as a weapon should the need arise. if u have the push button lock on ur car, dont unlock the car until ur at the door, coz someone can get inside ur car b4 ur in it. lock the doors when travelling thru surburbia to prevent ppl gettin in ur car with u.
should someone attack u, dont go automatically for "below the belt", instead try kickin them in the shins or a punch in the chest.

Please Provide tips on women's Self Defense, what would be the first vital point u would suggest a woman to strike at a rapist 1)eyes 2)throat 3)chest 4)stomach 5)testicles 6)knees...and please give reasons for your answer..I am doing this survey cos I want to impart as much knowledge as I can to protect women of this world...plus it would be great to have knowledge on how a single woman can escape multiple rapists in a deserted place or household....

The only defense is to stay out of situations where such an attack is likely to occur.

I'm in a women's self-defense class, and there's a lot of techniques targeted at the groin (which I'm sure is no surprise to anyone.) Every guy friend I've spoken to always says stuff like "If a woman tried that on me, I'd block it...." or "...I'd catch the leg and then......blah blah blah....beat the tar out of her." Or they say stuff like "It wouldn't work if a guy had his adrenaline running."
The instructors teach us that guys protect it instinctively, but then, people protect their eyes instinctively too, and they teach us eye pokes. No one ever claims those wouldn't work. Why all of the reactions?
So, does anyone know from experience or witnessing, are groin attacks really an effective technique to learn? I imagine that any oppurtunity could present itself in a struggle, but will adrenaline really stop a good solid hit or grab to the balls?

Chances are he's going to know what you're going to do. A woman's best protection is to make sure she has protection when she's going out at night or when she is going into an area where she could be hurt.

If the man knows how to fight, it will not be that easy to strike him in the groin. He is not likely to be standing straight in a welcoming manner. He will of course also expect it when in a fight with a female, assisting him in defending himself.
If you are a female wanting to know how effective it is, it would be comparable to a powerful strike to the vulva. A lot of people are not aware of this as it is not portrayed in the media so here are some sources confimning it:

It is also worth noting that if a male is looking to assault a female, he is most likely wearing a groin guard, thus negating the entire idea of striking the groin.
Reply:Adrenalin will stop an attack to the balls. Because it takes at least two minutes or more before the male goes under. However the trick is to let him how good his is, if necessary encourage penetration. But once in control, grab the balls , never let go, squeeze hard, he Will then pass out, and then you will know the benefits of being woman.

You must use the predictable response from the attacker to further your defense (place yourself in a better position and escape). Adrenaline can help a man to ignore the pain of a groin strike, but his initial reaction is still likely to give you a response that may aid you in further self defense tactics. As for squeezing the groin until he passes out? This situation is unlikely. The rape scenario for which this has been suggested will place the attacker in a top position making his striking to your face a point of concern. He will likely fight back by pounding you in the face until you let go and fracture the bones of your face. For the rape scenario I suggest you learn as much about the guard position and how to protect yourself in it from experienced grapplers.
